Pasta Roma Gluten Free Spirals or ‘Fusilli’ comes from the word ‘fuso’ meaning spindle. It is traditionally spun by pressing and rolling a small rod over the thin strips of pasta to wind them around into a corkscrew shape. Pasta spirals can be used in many different recipes and are an especially good choice for sauce dishes and pasta salads.
Pasta Roma gluten free pasta is a good source of plant based protein and super allergy friendly. Produced in an allergen free facility, it is wheat free, egg free and contains no milk and no soy. Endorsed by Coeliac Australia, this gluten free pasta is suitable for those with coeliac disease.
- For each 350g of pasta, bring 5 litres of water to the boil (salted to taste).
- Add pasta and return to boil. Stir gently and continue to boil for 9-11 minutes to desired texture.
- Drain and serve with your favourite sauce.
