Bob’s Red Mill Almond Flour is a very popular gluten free, low carb flour, With an excellent performance and flavour. Whole blanched almonds are ground into a fine meal that lends a nutty flavour and moist texture to baked goods. Almond flour is great for making pancakes, cookies, coffee cakes, quick breads, muffins and more. As a general rule of thumb, you can also replace 25% of the all-purpose flour in your baking recipes with almond flour to add a wonderful texture and flavour while reducing the total carbohydrates. Not only is almond flour a traditional choice for delicacies like French macarons and financiers, but this nutty meal can be used in savoury applications, as well. Use it as a low carb flour alternative in place of breadcrumbs in meatballs, or as a coating for chicken and fish!
