If a discovery is said to be an accident meeting a prepared mind; then Siobhan took what life threw at her back in the early 2000's - uncertain future in agriculture, childhood health problems which influenced a lifelong interest in the relationship of food vs health and set up a bakery business in which there was no room for any artificial food additives. Her family sold the cows in 2004 and the bakery moved into the now empty milking parlour. The Foods of Athenry was born. And should you believe in the mysteries of the Universe, Siobhan’s grandparents owned one of the largest bakeries in the West of Ireland almost a hundred years ago. There is tradition in her fingertips and this can be seen in the quality products made by this beautiful brand. The Foods of Athenry is produced in Ireland, endorsed by Coeliac Society UK and made in a dedicated gluten free kitchen.
