Enjoy your favourite whole egg creations once again with Orgran's Vegan Easy Egg. Scrambled eggs, delicious homemade quiches and frittatas and mouth-watering omelette recipes are just the start. Equal to 15 eggs per pack, this vegetable based egg-free alternative is essential for everyone's pantry.
When prepared as scrambled eggs, they're cholesterol free, a good source of fibre and contain 7.6g of protein per serve.
Ingredients:
- 50g Orgran Vegan Easy Egg
- 240ml water
- 2.5 teaspoons oil
Directions:
- Whisk Easy Egg, water and oil in a medium bowl until blended.
- Spray a large non-stick skillet with oil. Heat over medium heat until hot. Pour in egg mixture.
- As eggs begin to set, gently pull the eggs across the pan with a spatula, forming large soft curds. Continue cooking - lifting and folding eggs until thickened and no visible liquid egg remains. Do not stir constantly.
- Remove from heat. Serve immediately. Scrambled eggs made is equal to 3 eggs.
