Save time when you are making Gnocchi, Savoury Pancakes, Croquettes, Veggie Purees, Fritters, Pies & Bakes. These vegan potato flakes make it super easy to serve delicious dairy free mashed potatoes at dinner time.

Each bag makes 1kg of perfect mashed potato that is free from sulphites, dairy and gluten.

Makes 300g mash (3 serves)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Plantasy Potato Mash
  • 1 cup + 1tbls boiling water, or half boiling water and half hot milk of choice
  • Salt to taste (1/2 teaspoon recommended)

Directions:

  1. Place 1 cup of Plantasy Potato Mash into a medium sized bowl.
  2. Add 1 cup + 1 tablespoon of boiling water, half boiling water and half hot milk of choice.
  3. Whisk with a fork until thick and smooth.
  4. Add salt to taste. We recommend 1/2 teaspoon salt for this serving.

COOKING TIP: For extra richness ass a tablespoon of butter or olive oil. Add more liquid if you prefer a lighter, fluffier mash.

Serves 2-4

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (50g) Plantasy Potato Mash
  • 200ml boiling water
  • 1/2 cup (75g) gluten free flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2-3 fresh basil leaves

Directions:

  1. Place Plantasy Potato Mash, gluten free flour and salt into a bowl and pour over the boiling water.
  2. Mix well until it comes together into a ball.
  3. Divide into 6 portions. On a well-floured surface, roll each piece into a log approximately 1cm in diameter. Cut each log into 2cm pieces. Repeat with the remaining 5 portions.
  4. Gently press each piece onto the curve of a floured fork to form grooves.
  5. To cook, bring a large pot of water to the boil. Add all the gnocchi in one go.
  6. Whilst they are cooking, heat one tablespoon of olive oil in a pan with the basil leaves. As the gnocchi rise to the surface of the pot, scoop them out with a slotted spoon and transfer to the fry pan. Saute for 3-5 minutes until golden and slightly crispy. Serve warm with Parmesan or dairy-free cheese sprinkles.
